Summer 2025 Volunteer or Visit Opportunities

We are always looking for adults to run a successful program!

Below are different ways you can be involved!

Shark Tank Judge                                                                    July 10th & July 25th from 1pm to 3pm
 
Over the summer, students learn about entrepreneurship and create their own businesses. We are looking for judges who want to be “Sharks” and help us choose the strongest business proposals.

Career Day Volunteers                                                                        July 11th from 9am to 12pm

One of our summer Fun Fridays exposes students to future careers and provides space for them to practice professional skills. There are two ways to volunteer for Career Day:

  • Present your job/career to students
  • Conduct mock interviews

10th Grade Capstone Panel                                                                     July 28th from 1pm to 3pm
 
At the end of four summers at Breakthrough, 10th-grade students have the opportunity to present what they have learned, who they are, and their future goals. We are looking for folks to sit on a panel to listen and score these final presentations.

    Host High School Students at your workplace!

    Breakthrough is looking for individuals and organizations to host small groups of high school students to shadow their workplaces this summer. We want to expose our high school students to as many different fields and organizations as they think about their future career paths.
